Documentation Suite

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality legal documents and expanding our legal capabilities to meet the demands of our fast-growing client base, we have made further updates to the following documents and services:
To assist with determining whether a document is right for you, document descriptions continue to be added for SMSFs, reserves, assets, agreements and more.
An additional unit class for preference shares has been added for Unit Trusts on the trust profile and in the Issue of Units form.

Corporate Messenger

An option to import Director IDs in bulk is now available via an Excel upload from the Director ID Actions menu, saving time and ensuring completeness of records.
Fixes and Enhancements
Interview forms now always open at the top of each page rather than the bottom forcing the user to scroll each time.
The Director ID field is now appearing on the company profile after lodgement of a Form 484.
Post Billpay has been removed as a payment option due to inconsistencies in the reference number. This will be revisited in future releases. Note, the BPAY option remains available.

Fixes and Enhancements

Documentation Suite

• E-signing has been repaired for the NSW Land Tax Unit Trust and Redemption of Units documents
• To minimise registration rejections when registering a Public Company Limited by Guarantee, the ‘Member Guarantee ($)’ field has been moved from the ‘Members’ tab to the ‘Company Details’ tab
• A preview PDF can now be downloaded to check the details added to the interview form when preparing a Public Company Limited by Shares document
• Error message is no longer displayed when lodging a Cessation of a Secretary who is also a director using the Form 484E (Extended) and 484B12 (Appointment and Resignation of Officers)
• The variation clause in the SMSF Deed of Variation interview form is now optional as there is no reference to the clause in the deed. A warning message is also now displayed for reference. Click here for more information.

• Companies within a pinned tab can now be searched

Super Comply

• Pins can now be applied after assigning to all funds
• The fund’s SMSF Manager can now be saved
• Validation has been applied to the Director ID field to ensure accuracy of records
• After e-signing is complete, the member status is updated in the fund profile
• The address is now required to save trustee details
• Ability to edit and add multiple trustee/member details in the interview forms
• Increased validation requirements when marking documents as signed from the fund profile ensuring signing cannot occur if the date is before establishment
• Fund profile PDFs can now be easily downloaded from the Funds page

Documentation Suite and Corporate Messenger

• Address autocomplete has been added for over 100 interview forms. This new feature will automatically suggest the address as you type and will help ensure accurate address data, reduce the risk of errors, and speed up the completion of the interview form. The manual address option also remains if required e.g., for international addresses.
• The Annual Statement has been enhanced with improvements to the text, format, and the execution field as part of our ongoing commitment to continuously improve all documents.

Fixes and Enhancements

• A new disclaimer has been added to the e-signing feature on bundled changes for Trust and SMSF documents.
• Jurisdiction has been added to the SMSF Deed Schedules.
• The client contact column within the companies page now includes the signing and billing contact.
• Ceased officeholders have now been completely removed from the client and billing contact section of the company profile.
• When there are multiple changes for an appointment cessation, the duplicate page has been removed from the Form 484E.
• XPM Integration
  • Within the notification centre, the company name in the ‘XPM data integrity issue’ notification has been repaired.
  • The mobile phone for signing and billing contacts is now syncing within the XPM data comparison report.
• GreatSoft Integration
  • Companies with the same ACN but different name in either Corporate Messenger or GreatSoft are now assigned with the correct pin in the companies page.
  • Link to access company in GreatSoft is now shown in the notification centre.
