Natasha won the HUBhero ’We Get It Done With Heart’ Award this year, using her ‘superpower’ of kindness to create a strong work culture in her role as Office Experience Coordinator.
Tell me about your role at HUB24 Group? What do you do?
I am Class’s Office Experience Coordinator – so basically, I am the first person you will see when you visit our Sydney office. My role is a unique blend of office management, admin, employee engagement and event management. No day looks like the same!
In this post-COVID working environment, I believe that my role is to motivate our people to return to work and create a space for them to be their authentic selves at work.
What has surprised you the most about the working culture at HUB24?
In the 2.5 years that I have worked at Class, there have been many changes happening within the business. But the essence of our culture is strong: it is one with a lot of heart, passion, and authenticity.
What is your ‘superpower’ and how to you use this in everyday life?
I would have to say that it is kindness. It is so underrated. Kindness really does make a huge difference – and it goes around, making the world a better place.
If there was one piece of career advice you could give someone, what would that be?
I think the best career advice I have received was ‘Learn to be comfortable with the uncomfortable’: it always helps you grow in every way.
