Anna is a Software Developer at Class, who returned to the field after a career hiatus. Anna is part of our STEM Returners program and started with us on a 12 week training program. Her story talks about the importance of resilience and positivity in the workplace, and how she has used these skills to learn and be the best version of herself.
Tell me about your role at the HUB24 Ggroup? What do you do?
I’m a Developer on the Class-NowInfinity Apricus team based in Sydney. I’m involved in the development and enhancement of the NowInfinity document/entity management platform.
What has surprised you the most about the working culture at HUB24?
I appreciate the friendly, collaborative approach, especially how they value a work- life balance and the well-being of their employees and colleagues.
What is your ‘superpower’ and how to you use this in everyday life?
Resilience and positivity, including the ability to work through challenges and be adaptable to changing circumstances. A positive attitude fosters an energetic, collaborative environment.
If there was one piece of career advice you could give someone, what would that be?
Enjoy continuous learning and developing new skills. After a career hiatus, it was very important for me to take the time to upskill, such as through online resources and courses, and certifications.
