Class appoints top professionals as part of reimagine strategy

Innovative cloud-based technology company Class has appointed three key professionals to the senior executive team to support chief executive Andrew Russell drive the organisation’s transformative ‘reimagination’ strategy.

Jason Wilson, previously the general manager, digital at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), has been appointed chief product and marketing officer. An accomplished leader of digital teams and start-ups, Jason’s career has centred on solving customer problems through great user experiences. “Given Class’ history and track record for building innovative technology solutions, I’m delighted to join Class and be a member of the executive team. The company has an exciting future ahead and I look forward to helping shape the path forward” says Jason Wilson.

Former chief technology officer (CTO), with Visual Risk in Sydney, Dan Coutts has been appointed CTO. A senior IT executive with international multi-team leadership skills in business application development, infrastructure, cloud delivery and digital transformation, Dan is highly experienced at overcoming barriers to promote growth, efficiency and quality. Dan Coutts says, “I am honoured to join Andrew and the Class team to build on our trusted technology platform to deliver growth, efficiency and simplicity for our customers”.

James Delmar who has been appointed Chief Sales Officer is the third appointment. Previously with Salesforce, James has 16 years’ experience in IT and telecommunications. He has worked in engineering, management and sales and held positions giving him a unique perspective on the business and tech value propositions shaping today’s businesses in the fourth industrial revolution.

“These strategic, high level appointments are an important milestone in implementing our ‘reimagination’ strategy using new cloud-based technologies which will enable accountants, administrators and financial planners to better automate and reduce costs in their back office,” says Class chief executive Andrew Russell.
