Christopher Cuffe

Commencing his career as a chartered accountant, Chris entered the funds management industry in 1985. In 1988 he joined Colonial First State where he was CEO from 1990 until 2003. In 2003 he became CEO of the listed Challenger Group. In October 2007 Chris was inducted into the Australian Fund Manager’s RBS Hall of Fame for services to the investment industry. In 2017 he was appointed as an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia.

Dana Fleming

Dana has over 25 years tax experience, specialising in superannuation and managed investments in Australia and overseas at both KPMG and PwC. For the last 4 years Dana has led KPMG’s Asset & Wealth Management Practice in Australia. Most recently, Dana has joined the ATO as an Assistant Commissioner, leading the SMSF segment where she hopes to make a positive contribution to the public sector and importantly to the community.

Meg Heffron

Meg is a leading SMSF practitioner who has worked in super for over 20 years. She has been a key member of the Technical Services Team at Heffron and specialised exclusively in SMSFs – one of the few actuaries in the country to do so. Meg is frequently asked to participate in consultation forums with industry, Treasury and the ATO via the Superannuation Industry Relationship Network and is well known for her technical expertise and policy contributions.

Grant is the leading self managed super fund author, commentator and presenter in Australia. His latest book, “The Guru’s Guide to SMSFs” has become a best seller and provides strategic insight into SMSF. He did the first ever video on SMSFs in 1994, streamed the first ever internet training video in 1998, created the first ever SMSF specialist adviser course in 2000, and during his career, has presented on SMSFs on more than 1,500 occasions, and to more than 100,000 people.

Rob has more than 25 years experience in the financial services industry and prior to joining Macquarie, Rob was part of the executive team that ran Genesys Wealth Advisers.  As Director of Platforms and Products, he delivered quality solutions to the adviser network, and had executive responsibility for Synergy Capital Management.

Peter Hogan

SMSF Association

Peter is the Head of Education and Technical for the SMSF Association. He trained as a lawyer and worked for the ATO before joining some of Australia’s largest financial institutions to work in key superannuation, investment and taxation roles. His enormous industry experience and knowledge means he is in constant demand on the SMSF speaking circuit. Peter is an SMSF Association Specialist Adviser and former Chair and National Board member of the Association.
