Class Wins CoreData Top SMSF Software Provider Award for 4th Year Running
Friday, 1 September 2017 – Class, provider of leading cloud-based SMSF software Class Super, has won the SMSF Accounting Software/Administration Award for the 4th year running in the CoreData SMSF Service Provider Awards 2017.
The award, presented by business analytics firm CoreData and industry publication Self-Managed Super, recognises the top-rated provider of SMSF Software, based on a survey of SMSF accountants and advisers.
Class CEO Kevin Bungard paid tribute to the team at Class.
“Our people are committed to developing innovative solutions that help accountants, financial advisers and their clients,” Mr Bungard said.
“It’s great to come out on top in a survey of advisers working with SMSF clients every day.”
Class has won a number of top awards in 2017 as it introduced a range of new features to help accountants manage the administrative workload of the Super Reforms, tools for SMSF trustees to monitor their wealth and consolidated portfolios to better enable accountants and planners to work together on SMSF clients.
The other award highlights this year were the 2017 SMSF Adviser SMSF Software Provider Award, also for the fourth year in a row, and the 2017 Investment Trends Highest Overall Client Satisfaction: SMSF Software award for the third straight year.
Mr Bungard said accountants and trustees needed to prepare for a “second wave” of the Super Reforms with new TBAR reporting requirements due in July 2018.
“The volume of reporting that will need to be done is going to be higher than many people expect and accountants servicing SMSFs need to have the right online systems in place to be able to manage this,” Mr Bungard said.
Class passed a milestone 140,000 SMSFs administered on its software during the June 2017 quarter and its SMSF market share rose to 24%.
